The HELP Foundation started a medical mission in Uganda in march of 2014. Since then, there have been three medical mission trips and through the program, over 4,000 patients have been treated and over 300 surgeries have been completeled. The foundation continues it’s work there to begin construction of a specialty hospital that will serve East Uganda.
Ssezibwa Demonstration Farm Project: The HELP foundation set up a farmer’s co-operative in March of 2014 and sponsored a tractor and grain maize mill to help the farmers raise their own crop and mill produce – thereby creating a sustainable agricultral system. This project has improved the lives of farmers in the region and while the farmer’s children had to work on the farm before the mill, they can now go to school.
